The long road
Newton Rider has been developing its helmets for a long time. In fact, years ago it took to crowdfunding to finance the development of its helmets. Crowdfunding is a great way to finance a startup, but it does come with pitfalls. If development takes longer than expected (and doesn’t it always?) there is a real risk that delivery schedules slip, and slip, and slip. Despite these delays, we see great potential in Newton Rider and we want to support the company to successfully finalize its development phase and go into production. While we can’t undo the delays of the crowsfunders, our investment can improve the chances of them receiving their long-awaited helmet as quickly as possible.
